Sirinath Rajini Mangrove Ecosystem Learning Center
Thailand’s first mangrove study center is an epic achievement, developed on a derelict prawn farm, to celebrate His Majesty’s 50th year on the throne.
Thanks for the support of the Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT), the area has been transformed into a thriving mangrove swamp, offering visitors the chance to explore nature trails into the mangroves, view bird life, such as egrets and collared kingfishers, and meet other inhabitants of the mangroves, such as charming mud flappers and fiddler craps scuttling around with a huge, single claw!

There is excellent information in Thai and English about the ecosystem, and local ways of life. You can even climb up the observation tower to admire an inspiring, panoramic view of the restored mangrove forests....
