Pa La Uh Waterfall and Huay Sat Yai cultural OTOP village
Located in verdant forest 60 kilometers from Hua Hin, this multi-tired waterfall is famous for the swarms of butterflies that inhabit the area, supposedly a different coloured species on each level. The best time to see them is the early morning when the air is fresh and cool. On the way to the national park, it is
sometimes possible to see wild elephants. For safety, please stay a good distance away from wild animals.

Close to Pa La Uh waterfall, there are interesting villages and possibilities for cultural exchange, homestay and wildlife watching, including wild elephants, butterflies and the enigmatic 7 coloured crab. A highlight of this area is a visit to Pa La Uh ethnic Karen village, where people still live a very simple life,
relying on natural resources.
Pa La Uh Karen village is only accessible by foot, and requires a 1 hour hike through slightly hilly terrain, including several, shallow stream crossings. This can be organised by the local government administration.
